Silicone Boys...

SILICONE BOYS - Watch on You Tube
Imagine a day out at Skegness; sunshine, lapping waves and golden sand as far as the eye can see. Well thanks to the SEAS project, a surprise definitely awaited beachgoers today.
Forget donkey rides or ice-creams, the number one attraction on the beach today was Tom Hackett's giant florescent heads. People came from far and wide to see them; they even queued up to touch them and get their photo taken with them.
The bright, fluorescent heads provided the ideal place for sandcastle making, and for special sand art. Forget burying dad in the sand, one little girl tried to bury herself in the sand to become part of the installation! Definitely worth a trip- if just to have your photo taken with the unusual heads.
The Silicone Boys will be on display to the left of the main pier, from dawn until dusk.
Date: 26th & 27th September 2009. 19:00pm
