SO 2010 is an exciting cultural festival in Skegness, organised by East Lindsey District Council.

SO 2010 is set to take Skegness by storm with exiting and exhilarating events for the whole family to enjoy between July 22-25th 2010.

The four day festival will build on the success of the
 SO 2009 festival which incorporated comedy, cabaret and opera with Jonathan Ansell beamed live from the theatre to the beach!

The two day festival drew to a close with an amazing fire show of pyrotechnic art and music, watched by more than 8000 people on central beach

SO 2010 promises to be SO ...SPECTACULAR!

The SO Festival will deliver high quality artistic content, combining music, art, dance performance art, street theatre and fireworks, with a focus on community involvement and active participation by all age groups.

If you want to be part of the newest and biggest arts festivals in the East Midlands ...there will be different areas of volunteering for you to consider.

  • Marketing - festival promotion
  • Working with the community - workshop assistance, parade development
  • events assisting - helping with the smooth running of performances etc
  • Steward assistance - to assist with stewarding of the events
